SIGVIEW reads and saves its configuration data, settings, default tools etc. into a folder often referenced as "SIGVIEW Application Data". This folder is normally located in a hidden location 


C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Sigview


You can also access that folder directly from the Windows Start Menu by typing "SIGVIEW Application Data" in the search box on the Windows taskbar:




You would normally not need to access this folder directly. But there are some special cases where you may need it:


  • Saving/Deleting/Editing standard tools (*.swt) from "Tools" subfolder
  • Saving/Deleting/Editing calibration files from the "Calibration" subfolder
  • Saving/Deleting/Editing standard FFT variant files from the "FFTVariants" subfolder
  • Saving/Deleting/Editing standard Octave filter files from the "Filters" subfolder
  • Collecting crash dumps: If you encounter a problem with Sigview crashing, you will find a file named "LAST_SIGVIEW_CRASH_DUMP.dmp". You can send that file to our support to help us solve the problem
