To configure the axes of a 3D graphic, utilize the Axes Settings dialog. This dialog becomes accessible upon choosing the "Edit/Axes settings" option from the menu.

There are several fields in this dialog:

Max & Min fields are used for setting the Z-axis range. You can enter your own values in the edit box, or you can change them by pressing the up/down arrows on the right side of each edit box.

Auto button sets values in min/max fields to the actual min/max values from the graphic.

Instant preview: This check-box turns on immediate redraw of the graphics, as soon as min/max values are changed. In case of a complex 3D graphics, you would typically want to turn off this feature for performance reasons.

Fixed min/max (no auto-scale) check-box: Select this if you want to prevent automatic changes of the Z-axis settings when the graphic values change.

Show axes check-box: Select this if you want to see the lines and labels of the coordinate system.

Labels: Text which appears at the X, Y and Z axes if the “Show axes” option is selected.
